About Celly
Celly, which stands for "connect, engage, learn, launch, yield,” is a product of IBI & Company, an EdTech firm based in Seoul, South Korea, dedicated to empowering borderless career development worldwide. Celly serves as a global educational platform for SPRs (Student Project Representatives), students who engage in the company-delegated projects voluntarily to fulfill their educational aspirations, providing them with knowledge and skills for the future. The core talents of Celly come from IBI, International Business Initiation, a global career acceleration hub founded in January 2023 at Yonsei University. At IBI, we provide career training programs through university clubs, helping to kickstart young professionals’ careers while they are still part of educational institutions. IBI fellows, particularly those with a success record within its organic program, are redirected to Celly upon completion to further contribute to the mock cases provided by startups on this platform. Companies interested in learning more about IBI can visit https://ibi-hq.com/.
We align our operations with the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO), including the promotion of decent work, freedom of association, elimination of forced labor, abolition of child labor, and the elimination of discrimination in employment. Additionally, we comply with the Labor Standards Act of South Korea, ensuring fair treatment, safe working conditions, and respect for employee rights as mandated by Korean law.
Celly strictly prohibits discrimination, sexual harassment, and labor exploitation in all its activities. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is valued, and all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
Educational Platform for Global Students
Celly is designed as an educational resource, open to SPRs worldwide, offering self‑paced learning materials, career development tools, and skill‑building resources. Our platform focuses on enhancing academic growth and preparing SPRs for future opportunities, and it is not an internship or employment matching platform.
We provide accessible content tailored to learners across all regions, fostering a global community of knowledge seekers. We encourage responsible use of our resources, promoting academic integrity and adherence to ethical guidelines. Our content is crafted to educate, inspire, and support SPRs globally, reflecting our commitment to their success.
Support for Partnering Startups
Celly is committed to assisting our partnering startups as much as possible by offering an optional integration of our unique AI chatbot, developed by Chatbase (https://www.chatbase.co/). This tool helps scope project details, ensuring alignment with our legal requirements under Korean law and ILO standards. The chatbot provides guidance to streamline project planning while maintaining compliance with our policies on non‑discrimination, anti‑harassment, and anti‑exploitation. Participation in this service is voluntary, and startups retain full control over their project decisions.
Projects are managed on the contents management platform, Whop (https://whop.com/). SPRs are "enrolled” in these projects, similar to school courses, allowing for structured participation and tracking of their progress in a familiar academic format. Our sole responsibility is to transform the needs of partnering startups into hypothetical, experimental educational opportunities for SPRs. The products resulting from these SPRs projects are not guaranteed, and we do not promise high‑quality deliverables. The focus remains on the learning experience rather than the production of commercial outcomes.
As of May 2025, Celly is in its pilot stage. During this period, SPRs are charged for participation to support our operations, reflecting our current monetization model based on their commitment to learning from our projects. Companies and startups are not charged at this stage; however, startups may be charged in the future as Celly evolves beyond the pilot phase. Companies are initially required to provide feedback on the first 5‑10 SPRs submissions. Afterward, they may choose to keep the project public on the Heights platform and continue receiving project results, provided they do not voluntarily express their willingness to take down the project.
We kindly request that startups consider providing optional educational materials to accelerate SPRs’ understanding of certain roles. These materials should be publicly available sources, such as YouTube videos, Coursera courses, Forbes articles, etc., and must include specific URLs that lead SPRs directly to a particular course or article rather than a general platform. While Celly will always provide default educational materials to SPRs regardless of company contributions, the inclusion of such resources by startups can greatly enhance the learning experience and contribute to creating a better platform. We appreciate the cooperation of our partners in this endeavor.
Ethical Standards and Partner Expectations
Integrity, ingenuity, and inclusivity are the cornerstone principles guiding Celly’s operations. We uphold the highest ethical standards in our interactions with SPRs, staff, and partners, including protecting user privacy, ensuring data security, and maintaining transparency. Unethical practices such as plagiarism, misrepresentation, or exploitation are strictly prohibited.
We expect all our partners to prioritize integrity by upholding honest and transparent practices, ingenuity by fostering innovative educational solutions, and inclusivity by embracing diversity and ensuring equitable access to our platform. Partners are required to align with our anti‑discrimination, anti‑harassment, and anti‑exploitation policies to maintain their association with Celly.
